In May 2008, as part of the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN), national tests will be held in literacy and numeracy for all students in Australia at Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. These tests will replace the current State and Territory-based assessments and have the support of all Education Ministers.

Deakin Digest - The School Newsletter Deakin Digest is the name of the Alfred Deakin High School Newsletter. This Newsletter is published fortnightly, and is distributed to students during tutor group. A copy of the newsletter is posted to My Classes and can be accessed by students with an active username and password. To request an electronic copy of the Deakin Digest in pdf format via email, please contact the school on 62055566. Please note that students will still receive a copy of the newsletter from their tutor group teacher.
